One Proven System Adaptive Indicator (“the Extension”) is a Chrome extension developed by Kaden Hesse that provides price action forecasting and confidence gauges for stock symbols displayed on TradingView charts (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/). This Privacy Policy outlines how the Extension collects, uses, stores, and protects data to ensure transparency and compliance with applicable guidelines.
Data We Collect
The Extension collects and processes the following non-personal data:
- Stock Symbols: The Extension extracts stock symbols (e.g., “SPY”, “AAPL”) from the title or URL parameters of TradingView chart pages.
- Local Storage: The latest stock symbol is stored locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API (
chrome.storage.local) to maintain the current symbol across page refreshes. - API Data: The Extension fetches forecast data, including price predictions, probability distributions, and trading signals (e.g., bullish, bearish, neutral), from our secure API at https://api.oneprovensystem.com/.
No personal data, such as names, email addresses, or other identifying information, is collected or processed by the Extension.
How We Use Your Data
The Extension uses the collected data solely to provide its core functionality:
- Stock Symbols: Extracted symbols are used to query the API for relevant forecast data and to display the correct symbol in the sidebar interface.
- Local Storage: The latest symbol is stored locally to ensure the Extension displays the appropriate forecast when you revisit a TradingView chart.
- API Data: Forecast data (prices, probabilities, and signals) is processed in-memory to generate charts and confidence gauges in the Extension’s sidebar.
Data Storage and Security
We take the following measures to ensure data security:
- Local Storage: Stock symbols are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
- API Communication: All data fetched from https://api.oneprovensystem.com/ is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections to protect against interception.
- No Persistent Storage: API data is processed in-memory and not stored persistently beyond the user session.
- Security Measures: We implement reasonable technical measures to ensure the security of data transmissions, including the use of HTTPS for API requests. No sensitive or personal data is collected, reducing the risk of data exposure.
Data Sharing
The Extension does not share any data with third parties. Stock symbols and API data are not linked to your identity and are used solely for the Extension’s functionality.
User Rights
You have full control over the data stored by the Extension:
- You can clear locally stored stock symbols by clearing your browser’s storage or uninstalling the Extension.
- No account or personal information is required to use the Extension, so there is no personal data to manage.
